I am an experienced new build Captain having overseen 7 new builds ranging from 23m up to 46m.

I have been involved and around yachts since a very young age through my father who was a professional yacht racer. Through him I developed a love for boats and the sea. This led me to eventually choose yachting as my career.

As soon as I left school I joined a maxi sailing yacht as mate and spent almost a year onboard taking part in various regattas and corporate events, including several trans Atlantic crossings. A few years later I decided that this was the route I wanted to take and started to take my qualifications and my first positions within the industry.

Since then I have ran a number of sailing and motor yachts and completed many ocean crossings as well as coastal cruising.
I am an enthusiastic, hard working individual, with good management and leadership skills. I have always had good crew retention onboard and worked with the same crew on a number of different yachts.

In my spare time I enjoy most sports including rugby, cricket and golf.

Since completing my Yacht Master in 2015, and gaining my first position, my highly transferable skill set and trustworthy presence, combined with my passion for the sea allowed me to progress and flourish within the industry.

I am an energetic and diversely skilled individual that enjoys the pursuit of both physical and mental challenges, and as such have always relished in jobs where I can utilise these attributes.

I feel that my sociable nature, strong communication skills, and work ethic allows me to encourage and develop efficient and effective team environments within all my roles.

A confident and highly ambitious individual. Once a Beauty business owner in the city of Manchester UK, where I successfully built a clientele of over 150 clients.

I strive on maintaining the upmost standards as well as being very attentive to perfecting details, especially due to the nature of my skills.

Due to my previous work experience in the restaurant industry my knowledge has been an asset not only to myself but also my colleagues.

A Foundation degree qualified (Portsmouth University) Marine Engineer, I started my Maritime career in the British Royal Navy in 1997, leaving as Chief Engineering Petty officer, serving 14 years.

Experienced in the maintenance and operation diesel engines, gas turbines, various propulsion systems as well as the auxiliary support equipment and hotel services. Self-motivated, ambitious, and capable of working independently or within a team, consistently achieving the objectives.

I have worked in the Yachting sector for 10 years as Chief Engineer, taking on full responsibility for day to running for all engineering as well as planning and managing Class special surveys, Engine room refits and AVIT overhauls.

I have Excellent communication and leadership skills. Able to confidently complete all tasks with a high degree of efficiency, in an often-pressurised environment. Experienced, loyal, and reliable, is ready to succeed at any given task.
